Jammu , April 05 (KNO) : The Youth of Jammu & Kashmir state is bestowed with abundant talent in sports and need opportunities for excellence.

Stating this senior PDP youth leader Parvez Wafa Khan said that J&K is bestowed with professional and talented sportsmen and has brought laurels to the state at various levels on both international and national levels .

Addressing a function to felicitate Mr Raj Kumar the son of soil who had won overall IBBFF Mr India 2018 contest including first runner-up Mr Sandeep Verma at Gandinagar today, Wafa said that the felicitation is a small gesture from us inorder to encourage people for participation in sports activities.

He said we are happy that such son’s of the soil on sports arena with flying colours are bringing laurels to the state and make state proud. He said that the state Government led by Ms Mehbooba Mufti is taking all necessary measures for promoting sports and upgradation of sports infrastructure in the state. Those who were also present on this occasion include Jodh Singh Saini, Mohan Singh, Majid Khan, Rajinder Singh, Rajat Randhawa, Sandeep Kumar, Sandeep Jamwal, Rajat Gupta and many others. (KNO)
